About me
My journey into aesthetics began long before I ever stepped into a treatment room.
At just 16, I struggled with severe, cystic acne driven by PCOS—constant inflammation, oiliness, and breakouts that deeply impacted my confidence. For years, I felt like I was doing everything I could, yet nothing was truly working.
That experience is what shaped the way I treat skin today.
I became determined to understand not just how to treat acne—but how to correct it at its source. What started as a personal journey quickly turned into a passion for skin science, ingredient chemistry, and the deeper connection between internal health and the skin.
Over time, I was able to transform my own skin—and more importantly, rebuild my confidence. That transformation is what led me into aesthetics.
Today, as a licensed medical aesthetician, I specialize in acne correction and overall skin transformation, treating concerns such as pigmentation, aging, and sensitive or compromised skin conditions through corrective, results-driven treatments.
My approach is both clinical and holistic, combining advanced techniques with a deep understanding of the skin barrier, inflammation, and internal factors like hormones and lifestyle.
Every treatment I perform is fully customized, with a focus on long-term skin health, correction, and sustainable results—not quick fixes.
Before officially stepping into the treatment room, my connection to aesthetics was already taking shape. Emily, founder of Skin Studio Aesthetics & Wellness, had been a longtime friend and one of the earliest people to inspire me to continue pursuing this path. She was also the first person I trusted with advanced treatments like chemical peels and Morpheus, experiences that deepened both my understanding of skin and my confidence in corrective treatments.
In 2024, as Emily was beginning to build Skin Studio, I stepped in alongside her during the early stages of its growth. What started as a vision has since evolved into a collaborative partnership, where I’ve played an active role in shaping both the client experience and the development of the brand.
As I’ve grown as an esthetician, my commitment to this work has only deepened. I continuously invest in advanced education, refining my knowledge through ongoing training, certifications, and a deeper study of skin science, ingredient chemistry, and internal health.
This dedication has led me to become oncology-certified and expand my education in nutrition, allowing me to approach the skin with a more complete, informed perspective.
For me, this isn’t just about performing treatments—it’s about truly understanding the skin at every level, so I can deliver results that are not only visible, but safe, intentional, and long-lasting.
Because to me this work goes far beyond treatments for me.
At the core of CT Skin Girl is a commitment to education, empowerment, and real transformation. I believe that healthy skin isn’t about changing who you are, it’s about understanding your skin, supporting it properly, and giving it what it truly needs to function at its best.
My role is not just to treat your skin, but to guide you, helping you build confidence, trust your skin, and feel fully comfortable in it.
Because when your skin is supported correctly, the transformation is more than physical—it’s how you show up, how you feel, and how you carry yourself every day.
And that’s the level of care and intention I bring to every client I work with
My Personal Skin Journey & Treatment Philosophy
Transparency is a core part of how I practice.
I’ve never taken Accutane or prescription acne medications—my skin was cleared through consistency, advanced treatments, and a deep understanding of how to support the skin long-term.
At my worst, my acne was inflamed, persistent, and heavily influenced by PCOS. It wasn’t until I began working in a medical spa environment that everything shifted. I was introduced to medical-grade skincare and began receiving regular, corrective treatments—and that’s when I started to see real, lasting change.
Some of the most transformative treatments in my journey included radiofrequency based treatments like Morpheus8, along with chemical peels that helped reduce inflammation, improve texture, and accelerate skin renewal.
Today, I maintain my skin through a combination of advanced in-clinic treatments and consistent at-home care.
My current regimen includes medical-grade skincare, prescription-strength tretinoin, and professional treatments such as monthly facials, quarterly chemical peels, microneedling, and Xerf.
Because of this experience, I don’t believe in quick fixes.
I believe in consistency, customization, and treating the skin at its source—so results are not only visible, but sustainable.
I cannot recommend Isa enough! I came to her 3 months before my wedding with an impossible task of clearing my acne before the big day - she delivered!!!! She is knowledgeable, patient, and talented - and goes above and beyond for her clients. She is always available for questions post-care, and take the time to make sure you understand the procedures, products, etc. So glad to have found her!!
